SchoolNET Project (SchoolNET) is designed for South

appliance in education with financial support from World
Bank. The target of this project is to help young people
from South East Asia to upgrade their knowledges, skills
and experiences to participate in the global economy.
Countries in South East Asia are very active in
propagandizing to their people to understand about
benefit of IT and prepare young generation with skills
to be able to compete in the labour market in knowledge
economy and technology nowadays.
The project will provide computer equipments, softwares
and train IT teachers/ staffs of schools and
institutions in 4 South East Asian Countries (Vietnam,
Laos, Cambodia and Phillipines), with the purpose of
establishing a general solution: training teachers with
IT knowledges, skills and providing equipments to help
them with direct practice. The most important thing is
that these teachers will become key members who help to
impart the IT skills and knowledge to students and apply
IT in schools. They will help students to improve skills
of using IT in particular and in academic in general. 11
schools having difficult conditions in Vietnam will
participate in this project.
IT Bureau – Ministry of Education and Training

Aprotrain, with the reputation of an international
education group, is selected to be a regulating and
deploying unit of the project. “Acheivements in domestic
and international training sector and experiences are
important factors to help Aprotrain become regulating
and deploying unit of SchoolNet project in Vietnam.”, Mr. Chu Tuan Anh, representative of Aprotrain says, “We will
deploy this project succesffuly”.
SchoolNet is one of the projects contributing to the
promotion of IT application into education and training
