In February, Danida’s Business-to-Business (B2B)
Programme invites companies from seven different
countries to Denmark to participate in TechChange ICT
2008.
Bangladesh, Bolivia, Egypt, Ghana, Nicaragua, Uganda and
Vietnam are all represented by one or two companies. The
participating companies have been chosen in cooperation
between Danish IT Society and The Danish Federation of
Small and Medium Enterprises.
The purpose
of TechChange ICT is to promote partnerships between
companies in Danida’s programme countries and Danish
companies in the ICT sector. Experience shows that there
are rich opportunities for partnerships in the ICT
sector!
Qualified
labour supply and low expenditures in the developing
countries make it attractive for Danish companies to
enter into cooperation with companies from other parts
of the world. Thus, 2007 was marked by a great interest
in the ICT sector. Danish ICT delegations visited
Vietnam, Nicaragua and Egypt – and with great success
following that several companies found qualified
partners.
TechChange ICT has been held at the Bella Center on
February 27-28 as part of a large IT and communications
fair.
Aprotrain is
one of the two international cooperation partners from
Vietnam, has participated in Techchange ICT 2008 and
committed to enter into a joint venture for software
development with Traen A/S, a company with 10 years
experience in developing electronic case management
systems.
